Mr. Jakub Kovar has been selected by IAEA to participate on the regional workshop on Application of State-of-the-Art Methodologies and Technologies for Decommissioning, Karlsruhe, Germany, 19-23 March 2018.

Mr. Pavol Hlavac has been selected by IAEA to participate on the regional workshop on Strengthening Capabilities for NPP Safety, Performance and Life Service, Shanghai and Qinshan, China, 19-23 March 2018.

Mr. Pavol Hlavac has been selected by IAEA to participate on the Technical Meeting on the Development of a Methodology for Aggregation of Various Risk Contributors for Nuclear Facilities, IAEA HQ, Vienna, Austria, 26-29 March 2018.

Mr. Zoltan Kovacs has been selected by IAEA to conduct the PSA review of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant within the project ARM902802 Improving the National Regulatory Infrastructure on Nuclear Safety.

Robert Spenlinger has been selected by IAEA to participate on the Technical Meeting on Roles, Responsibilities and Interfaces between Design Authority, Responsible Designers and Technical Support Organizations, London, United Kingdom, 11–13 December 2017.

Jakub Kovar has been selected by IAEA to participate on the training course: Practical Training Course on Planning and Implementation of Nuclear Facility Decommissioning, Argonne, United States of America, 24.4 - 5.5.2017.

OECD NEA CSNI WGRISK ANNUAL MEETING

The Working Group on Risk Assessment (WGRISK) hold its 2018 Annual Meeting from 7 to 9 March. Slovakia was represented at the meeting by Pavol Hlavac (RELKO) and Jozef Rybar (UJD SR). Pavol Hlavac provided information about the current state of use and development of PSA in Slovakia.

The Working Group on Risk Assessment (WGRISK) hold its 2017 Annual Meeting from 8 to 10 March. Slovakia was represented at the meeting by Zoltan Kovacs (RELKO) and Jozef Rybar (UJD SR). Zoltan Kovacs provided information about the current state of use and development of PSA in Slovakia. The technical discussion topic has been focused on extreme weather phenomena. Zoltan Kovacs gave a presentation in this section with a title of “Non-seismic External Event Level 1 and 2 PSA for the WWER440 Type Reactors in Slovakia”.
